Saudi Premium Residency Explained: Routes, Costs, and What You Actually Get

The routes into the programme, what each requires, and the benefits every route shares.

Saudi Arabia’s Premium Residency programme lets qualifying foreign nationals live, work, invest, and own property in the Kingdom without a local sponsor. For investors and entrepreneurs already doing business in Saudi Arabia, it is often the single biggest quality-of-life upgrade available.

There are several routes into the programme. The Investor route requires a MISA-licensed investment worth at least SAR 7,000,000 and at least ten employees maintained over the first two years. The Entrepreneur route is built for founders holding an entrepreneur license, with qualifying investment from an accredited entity and a minimum ownership stake. There is also a Real Estate Owner route, open to those purchasing a mortgage-free residential property valued at or above the programme’s minimum threshold, and general one-time or annually renewable products for other qualifying applicants.

Every route shares the same core benefits: no sponsor requirement, the right to sponsor spouse, parents, and children under 25, unrestricted entry and exit, and — for those who stay continuously compliant — a pathway to permanent residency.

Because eligibility depends entirely on which route fits your circumstances, our approach starts with an honest assessment before any paperwork begins. If you do not currently qualify, we will tell you what would need to change — and often that is simply the right license or property purchase, both of which we can also arrange.
